Vinnie Staffa

A lifelong Oceanside resident, Vinnie Staffa has proudly called the community home for nearly 56 years. A retired NYPD Lieutenant and current Fire Commissioner, Vinnie is deeply committed to public service and community support. He is an active member of the Oceanside Fire Department and Kiwanis Club, and he brings that same spirit of dedication to the Oceanside Community Warriors.

Inspired by his father’s legacy of volunteering as a fireman, Vinnie has carried that tradition forward—expanding his involvement across multiple organizations to help strengthen the fabric of the town he loves. For Vinnie, the most rewarding part of giving back is offering help to those who need it most and witnessing the powerful way Oceanside rallies around its neighbors in times of need.

Whether he's lending a hand at local events or showing up for his fellow residents, Vinnie embodies the heart of what it means to be a Warrior.
