Michael D’Ambrosio

Michael D’Ambrosio is an Oceanside resident and passionate public servant whose leadership spans local government, education, youth sports, and community service. He currently serves as President of the Oceanside Board of Education and as Deputy Commissioner for Nassau County—roles that speak to his deep commitment to public service and his hometown.

A proud past president of the Oceanside Kiwanis Club, Michael has been a longtime advocate for children and families, and continues to dedicate his time to creating opportunities for community growth and support. He also serves on the Pastoral Council at St. Anthony’s Church and has held leadership roles in the Long Island Junior Soccer League and Eastern New York Youth Soccer, helping to serve thousands of young athletes across the region.

As a member of the Oceanside Community Warriors, Michael brings his passion for civic engagement and community pride to every cleanup, event, and volunteer project. His favorite part of giving back? Knowing that even small actions can make a big difference—and inspire others to do the same.
