Jacqueline Padin

Jacqueline Padin is a proud Oceanside resident, dedicated volunteer, and passionate advocate for youth and family wellness. Born and raised in Middle Village, Queens, Jackie comes from a military family that instilled in her a deep respect for service and leadership. After moving to Oceanside in 2013 with her husband Jose and their children, Jackie quickly became immersed in the community, seeking ways to give back and make a difference.

She began by volunteering with the PTA and soon joined several local organizations, including the Oceanside Community Warriors, Oceanside Kiwanis, and the Oceanside SAFE Coalition. Through these groups, Jackie has championed causes close to her heart—particularly youth empowerment and substance abuse prevention. As a SAFE Coalition volunteer, she has worked alongside schools and local partners to promote healthy alternatives for children and educate families about the dangers of substance use.

In 2017, Jackie became a Den Leader with Cub Scouts Pack 230, where all three of her children are active members. She also serves as the Troop’s Community Service Coordinator, organizing initiatives like placing flags around Oceanside for Veterans Day and volunteering at Calverton National Cemetery on Memorial Day.

Through every effort, she remains committed to building a better future for Oceanside’s children—one rooted in kindness, leadership, and unity.
